Amazon Marble Mosaics | Region of Origin: Turkey | Material: Limestone Sizes: 5/8”x5/8”, 2”X4”, & 3”x6” | Amazon is a highly varied brown limestone that comes in a polished finish. The "base colour" is a deep tan-brown with black veins and fossil-like formations. It can also have pin-stripe quartz veins and onyx-like inclusions (shown). We stock Amazon in 3"x 6" and 12"x 12" tiles. -

Black Pearl, Cuzco | Region of Origin: Brazil | Material: Slate | Black Pearl is one of our most versatile slates because of its dimensions and lack of colour variation. We now offer this stone in a variety of mosaics. This Cuzco mosaic has staggered pieces that are designed to interlock with each sheet for a seamless installation. The mosaic features Black Pearl in two finishes, honed and the natural cleft, in an approximately 50/50 mix. -
Black Pearl, Mosaics | Region of Origin: Brazil | Material: Slate | Sizes: 2”x2”, 2”x4” | Black Pearl is one of our most sought after and versatile slates. Its charcoal and black colouring, along with its perfectly cut dimensions, make it very suitable for many indoor and outdoor applications. Now we have the opportunity to offer mosaics in this stone for shower bases, inserts, backsplashes, and fireplaces. In addition to 2"x 2" and 2"x 4" sizes, we also have a cultural brick mosaic which combines the natural cleft and honed finishes. -
Cappuccino Mosaics | Region of Origin: Turkey | Material: Marble | Cappuccino has a truly unique colour: it is neither a cream colour nor a brown but somewhere comfortably in-between, allowing it to be used in a wide variety of applications. Cappucino is a marble unique to Universal Slate. We carry it in a full line of tile (tiles, mouldings, etc.) and stock it regularly. -

Ivory/Noce Basket Weave | Region of Origin: Turkey | Material: Travertine | This mosaic features our same Ivory and Noce colours combined into a basket weave pattern. Each Ivory/Noce square is approximately 1" x 1" and each Ivory bar is approximately 1"x 3". The mosaic comes on a meshed sheet and each sheet is just under 1 Sq. Ft. in total size. The sheets are designed to interlock and provide a seamless texture. -
Ivory Tribeca/Tribeca Noce | Region of Origin: Turkey | Material: Travertine | Tribeca is an old-world travertine mosaic designed to invoke a sense of modernism. Both Tribeca varieties contain cream and brown travertines but are so named because the Ivory contains more Ivory by ratio and vice-versa. -

Noce Cappadoce | Region of Origin: Turkey | Material: Travertine | Cappadoce mosaic can be used effectively as a field tile or cut up into individual strips or inserts. It's a standard 3/8" thick and comes on a 12"x 12" sheet. -
Noce Tumbled Mosaics | Region of Origin: Turkey | Material: Unfilled Travertine | Sizes: 5/8”x 5/8”, 1”x 1”, 1”x 2” 2”x 2”, 2”x 4”, 4”x 4” & 3”x 6” -
Platinum Tumbled | Region of Origin: India | Material: Slate | Platinum tumbled has an interesting effect: it looks like it has been 'half-honed'. You get some of the colouration of the honed version but still with some of the texture of the natural cleft. When using Platinum mosaic, consider using a lighter grey grout colour to make it look clean and to make it 'pop'. -
